Use a Smart TV

Many models have no VPN app

You can install BBC iPlayer, ITVX, Channel 4 and other apps from your TV's app store. Android TV and Google TV models can usually run a VPN app directly. Others, including Samsung and LG, can't, so you need a VPN on your router or a separate streaming device (option 2).

  • Samsung, LG and many other brands have no VPN app
